We’re pleased to announce the launch of a new website for the Greenwich Action For Voluntary Service (GAVS), in association with Firefly Creative.
Our Role

Firefly approached us to provide the technical consultancy and build of the GAVS website, and when we saw the initial designs we knew that Firefly certainly pushed the design boundaries with an attractive translucent feel to the website. From design to complete content managed solution – we delivered a solution which allows GAVS to: update almost all content on the website; create new sections, and; optimise their website for search engines.
On-top of all this we also:
- Integrated Yahoo’s Upcoming Events service. This service drives their events management section, and allows GAVS to broadcast their events and training seminars to a wider, world-wide audience.
- Provided a custom, secure membership section which gives members of GAVS the ability to subscribe and download essential content. We gave the GAVS Editorial team the power to approve, suspend, delete and generally manage all their subscriptions.
- Provided key editorial control over various accessibility features, such as the “accesskey”, Allowing GAVS to meet their minimum requirements for accessibilty.
The site was delivered on time, and above spec.
About GAVS
GAVS exists to provide a strategic leadership role to support the development of voluntary, community and faith organisations, within the borough of Greenwich, London.

Well done to Devour Design for getting www.bagkandi.co.uk up and running. It’s a great looking Magento store with heaps of customisation – with a little help from me.
Firefly Creative needed to refresh the existing “news” section on their website, making it more dynamic allowing them to add pictures, photo’s and to enhance the way in which the publish their press releases.
We gave them a helping hand by installing a fully customised Blog in place of their existing news section and helped themĀ transfer their existing news and press releases across to the new system.
Firefly are now able to enjoy feature rich blogging through the installation and total branding of our Wordpress Content Management Services

Accord Financial Management Ltd approached us to rapidly design and develop a quick online annuity portal site so that they could benefit from an ever growing Annuity investment market.
Accord needed full control over their website content, on a tight budget, and quick. We delivered the website from start to finish in under 2 days – and that included developing a custom wordpress plugin to allow them to track all their affiliate website which would link to annuities4you.

Vivienne Westwood.co.uk had a brief technology melt down when their site was moved from one server to another. Unfortunately the site was not compatible with the setup of the new server.
We were bought in to rapidly fix the problems with their administration control panel as they were desperate to put their new fashion collections online.
